NUTS OF PIE

If there is nothing I like, I create by myself. As you know, I'm so particular about what I have. Now, I want a nice scarf. I mean, I'm knitting a nice scarf! I have never knitted, but I don't think I'm bad at it as I like creating. In this way, I don't have enough time to sleep these days. Do you know why the girl who usually looks sleepy can stay up so late? It's thanks to tea and chocolate called "pie no mi". It gives me a lot of power. Moreover it's winter version just now. I cannot stop my hand reaching one more pie, though I know I should not eat something at such time.

NABE PARTY

One day he said, "We will have to hold a nabe party soon!" He has a personality that nobody can stop him if he say he will do once. Then we adapted our schedules, and really held the nabe party today. His apartment where we gathered was so high and gorgeous that we forgot even to sit down with astonishment after we entered the room. There were all kinds of things new, fashionable and nice. I'm sure that some of us around kitchen seemed to prepared nabe, but this is truth that we were only watching him cooking, sometimes with cutting. I think he is certainly good at cooking because nabe and the chicken made by his own recipe was very yummy than I expect. Finally, I suggested to him that I would live this room since then. The answered was "No", of course.

MY NEW PARTNER

Something white, light and excellent came to my room. I was looking for nice one since before, thinking of DELL's which has a good point in color. I mean, I wanted a new computer. Mine was too old to use for study. It didn't allow me even to watch DVDs! What a terrrrrible computer!!(´Д｀;) As you know, however, computers are not cheap and I'm a kind of indecisive. It seemed that I decided to buy DELL's, but I found this computer I'm using now. Its screen is big, speaker has beautiful sound, and according to my mother, performance is perfect for price. By the way, she is one of experts in computer who I know, so I decided suddenly with no doubt. It will became to be my partner. I must set up in holidays.

SKA SPIRIT

They came to me. I saw them, just themselves. And I felt their real sound. So they are Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra! Today I went to their concert which was very exciting. They played their own instruments with dancing. As you know, I also play the trumpet, and respect them who hardly took a rest during the performance. Though there were reserved seats to sit down, all of those who were in the hall (of course including me) stood up and dancing with their star. However, regrettably I couldn't catch the drummer's stick or guitarist's pick or something. I envy the lucky who got them.

TERRIBLE SHOPPING

The day I expected was coming. I went shopping with that girl at last. I was surprised that she became gaudy. she talked about her boyfriend very much and showed me his photo. According to her, he is so terrible that he always ask her expensive things but he has a nice face which she loves greatly, and I think so. She loves cosmetics too, and recommended favorite one to me. We are really contrastive, but I enjoyed her talk because I have no friends like her, so it was unusual stories for me what she said. When we were in the boots shop, that unusual accident happened. Her boyfriend came in with another girl who she doesn't know! Naturally she got angry, but I said,"perhaps she is just a friend." She sent e-mail to him, never to got any answer. She had gone home, leaving me alone. Though hoe they do after that has been on my mind, I'll never hear about it.

TAKE A WALK

At first, today I had an appointment with a girl who I met at driver's licence center. We haven't seen each other since this spring vacation. I was happy on getting e-mail said "shall we hang out with soon?", but it was put off until next week by her work reason. You can be surprised to hear that she has her own work in spite of her age which is 3 years younger than me! In this way I became free, and my fingers were painful because of yesterday's hard lesson and my room was flooded with trifling things. I couldn't practice playing the guitar or go shopping, so I decided to take a walk. I think it is because I don't exercise why I become tired immediately these days. I turned on my ipod which filled up with power, put the headphone on my ears, chose my favorite sneakers and went outside. It was a little cold but good weather! At 17:30 I came home. It was about 3 hours ago when I left home, but I came back because it became dark, I was never tired. I enjoyed my walking.

ONE HAPPINESS

As I mentioned before, I am a teacher on my part-time job. Recently I'm happy because one of my students, who is still only 11 years old, made progress considerably. Her ability to calculate grew more speedy, and she can also devise. I have no chance to be concerned with figures now, so the time to study with her is quite important for my life. I really love mathematics! Another student who I teach English also advanced, but she is so clever from the beginning that she can apply her study with my scanty teaching. That is undesirable, yet I expect her tomorrow. To teach to someone not only makes him or her learn but also makes me learn. I have been maturing, too. However, to tell the truth, I would like to work at the apparel shop. Maybe I have already lost interest in my work.

FEAR OF DRUNK

The school festival finished yesterday. There are many memories of exciting days in my heart. As you know, we Jazzbu had nice performances with our original T-shirts designed by me! It took us about 6 hours to paint all members' shirts by hand. With our efforts, all of us could enjoy the time. As usual,we went to drinking after that. This time I thought to try drinking a little with my seniors, but it seemed I drank a little more than I had expected. I felt heat or sleepiness, and one of the drunk people invented me to ramp together. Eventually I had a cold today. My nose is stuffed up, and throat is sore. That's too bad consequence. However, I will enjoy the drinking party after the next concert on Nov.25 without learning...

PUDDING EXPOSITION

When I had a lunch with my friend in North Cafeteria which has a lot of yummy menu, something grave happened in Nagoya Station. It was picked up in news we watched there. I was exciting because it was a pudding exposition! I love puddings very much. The news said, in Nagoya Station many kinds of puddings gathered from around Japan. I thought it was for me! As soon as I knew the fact, I decided to meet them. After school, no other student went out of classroom earlier than me. I bought a lot them even for my family. Then I found a brilliant item, the pudding soda. It stared me. I couldn't help getting it. They cost me much money out of my expectation. I can't save money...

PE DAY

Today, Physical Education Day, was a holiday and it's rare for our school which usually has no national holidays. I even got a mail from one of my friends yesterday that made sure of whether the next day was a holiday or not. Of course, I answered it was a holiday, and it had to be a holiday for me because I had an appointment with my friend in my high school days. We have seen once a month since our graduation. This month we went shopping to Jazz Dream Nagashima. She wanted a training wear and I found pretty one. She was pleased with it very much, but there was no short pants I wanted. However, I spent much money on my clothes as usual and enjoyed my shopping. I must save money again.

WEIGHTY THING

The weather of end of this month was rainy. It was too bad for me because I decided to go shopping with my friend to buy my own electric guitar! As you know, I have practiced playing the guitar and according to my senior, I have improved very much. Then he said that electric guitars are easier to play then acoustic guitars. I wished I would hear that earlier. In this way I bought it. I have a part-time job but I live with my family, so I don't need much money and I could get it without any trouble. However, I realize that I don't know how to set it now! I must carry this weighty weighty thing again when I participate in my club.

GOODBYE, MY LAZY DAYS

Eventually, my wonderful summer vacation had gone away. Since today, I must wake up early, get irritated by a strange man next to me in the train and become very tired everyday. It's unbelievable life! Though I love English of course, my school is too far to commute from my house. However, it's certain that I will enjoy my school life also in second semester because of friends, teachers, club members and my lunch in North Cafeteria! It's so yummy that they can endure queuing. After all, I'm looking forward to having lunch there with my friends.

AFTER LONG SEPARATION

We had to go to school today. I thought it was disgusting because I always got up late during summer vacation, but it was at 11:00 that my class would start. I escaped being late. However, the train and the bus I rode was so crowded! Even though it was daytime, people filled all of seats and straps. It amazed me. Perhaps they were all NUFS students... In this way I met my friends after long separation, many of them changed their hair styles. Also my hair grows well and I want to have it cut again.

MY CLASSMATES

It's not too much to say that I love all of my high school classmates. In fact I was looking forward to today when I could meet them after half a year of separation, and they didn't change at all. Each face brought me back to old memories and I felt relief. Regrettably, we could gather only a half of classmates and only one of my friends who were always with me in those days, but I think it was enough to enjoy. We talked about each own university life with lighting the fireworks. We had a very very good time together, and I'm sure to love all of them than I had expected.

SPECIAL DAY

I went bowling with my local friends yesterday, August 20. I'm always a bad player, but it was applied to them that day. The game was of a low standard, and even the winner's score was not more than 100. However it was very funny game. Then we had a lunch and a long talk together. The subject was about me. Actually, I talked about it with my club members also today. Because... it's my birthday, August 21st! I became 19 years old. They celebrated me in a nice restaurant near our school, and the waiter brought me a dessert which was decorated with a message, "Happy Birthday きーこ"! (きーこ is my nickname after I love mushrooms.) It surprised me very much. Today would be my special day in my life.

BE ADULT

Recently I try to behave as an adult because of my work. Actually, I began the part-time job since end of July. It's cram school teacher. I mainly teach English and Math. The pupils are from elementary school students to high school students. I think they consider university students to be adult even me. I'm concerned about my appearance, my diction and my handwriting. It tires me every time. However, I like this job because I'm youngest in my relative and it's fresh for me to talk with juniors. I'll continue this job.

JAZZBU SUMMER CAMP

Today I came back from camp with "Jazzbu" members. It was very exciting and enjoyable. Barbecue, fire works, card games, amorous stories, spa and so on. Especially I enjoyed taking petite dramas! It was my senior's idea. The four actresses of Jazzbu played seriously and I took it with her digital camera. Their action was very good! One of the actresses could really cry. That drama was so great. Then we decided to surprise other senior who didn't know what we did. Two actresses began to quarrel about him and my friend called him. They involved him in the quarrel. He was poor, but it was a drama! He laughed finally.

MY OWN FIRST CONCERT

We held a live concert in Sakae. Our member of "Jazzbu" had practiced hard until today, and all of us hoped that the concert would succeed. Actually, it couldn't be said that the concert was perfect, but I enjoyed my own first concert and I think my members too. Anyway, my seniors drink too much! As soon as the concert finished, they drank in the bar which our stage was placed in. They looked so happy. I wanted to join them, but I don't like drinking and I drank only soft drink, orange juice, which I like best of drink!

MY JUNIORS' CONCERT

I went to the high school I graduated by my motor bike to enjoy my juniors' summer concert. I belonged to the brass band club in my school days, and I'm still a trumpeter now. My juniors grew up to be fine, and there were a lot of recruits to the club. I was happy! Then also my seniors of the club came to the concert. We met after a long separation , and chatted very much. They were not any different from those days. I was happy! However, the doughnuts I presented were unpopular among the juniors because they were not hungry. Oh, I was unhappy!

THE HAIR SALON

Today, I got my hair cut after school. I decided to do it suddenly. I'm sure that I was an annoying customer because I'm particular about my hair style, but the hairdresser was so good, and he set my hair as I had expected. However, I was angry with another hairdresser who washed my hair. While her massage was nice, her attitude to me was not nice. I think if she can't give a comfortable massage, she didn't work there. Without mentioning her, I was satisfied with the hair salon and my new hair style.

MY CHALLENGE

Suggested by the senior of my club, I began to practice playing the guitar recently. This guitar is my mother's who used to belong to a rock band as a guitarist. I think perhaps she was a good player, but for my soft fingers, it is really hard. They cry with pain everyday! However, I will never give up practicing because I'm happy when I feel to be progressing. Actually I can play several chords and a song arranged for beginners. I'm going to practice hard during this summer vacation, and try to amaze members of my club.

SPEAKING ENGLISH

I took part in Campus Creative Discussion for lunch time. It's a meeting for students learning English. At this meeting, we can speak only English! The reason why I decided to join in it is because I like writing, but I'm not good at speaking English. Three of our members gathered today. Aki is the fourth year student, and he has an experience of studying in Canada. It goes without saying that his English skill is amazing! He told us how the fourth year student's school life is. Chiaki who is a freshman like me wanted to be a flight attendant, but she was disappointed at hearing his hard story. I learned much from this meeting.

A BIRTHDAY

One of my seniors became twenty years old, so it's her birthday! We plotted to surprise her, and prepared. Some of our member made two wonderful cakes for her. We decorated and wrote messages on the cakes. Then we pretended to be usual with having crackers in our pockets. When she came into the club room and lights were turned out, we began to sing the birthday song. She must have been happy because she is loved by all of her club members. I think twenty-year-old person is no longer a child. I am still eighteen years old, but my birthday will come soon. I'm not happy because I want not to be an adult yet.

MY JAWS

At last, I got a plant today which I had wanted for long time! This is a kind of insectivorous plants, and I named it Jaws. Of course the name means he will catch many flies like the shark catches people. I poke his leaf, then it closes. I like this action very much. I can have a good time with him, so Jaws is my pet. He will guard me from insect pests.

MEGANE GIRL

I would like to be a "megane girl", that means a girl wearing glasses. However, my eyesight is very good, so I have many fake eyeglasses without lends. My friends are surprised that my glasses are only frame. I like watching their reaction when they found it has no lends.

BIKE LIFE

I often ride my motorbike recently. Although it is a scooter and very small, it can run well. I got the license last spring after my graduation. Since then I like going out by bike following my hunch. I did also today. It's very good for me to feel refreshing.

MY WORRY

It will be Father's Day soon. I'm wondering what I should give him. The other day, I went shopping to buy a present for him, but I was absorbed in my own shopping. Then I lost original purpose. So I'm still wondering what I should give him.

TSUBO MASSAGER

I love shopping. Today, I bought a cat ornament that says itself "tsubo massager", but I'll never use it for massage, thinking it looks useless for feeling good. Then why did I buy such a thing? Because I am an impulse buying professional, and I like cats goods. It looks useless but very cute! My room is usually full of nice goods and untidy. I don't like cleaning my room. However, I have to do it if I want to buy more things. I wonder I should clean my room, or avoid buying...
